    First edition, inscribed and signed by Pat Nixon, signed by Richard Nixon. Quarto. 97 pages.

    Pictorial cloth covers with white spine; front cover and spine bear read lettering. Minimal wear to edges, corners, and spine; moderately soiled spine. Textblock is tight and clean. Inspirational extracts from Nixon's writings and speeches, published before the Watergate debacle. Inscribed to Chiquita Williams by Pat Nixon on the table of contents page and dated "Christmas 1975." Also signed by President Nixon on the same page in black felt-tipped pen. According to an earlier owner of this book, it is believed that Ms. Chiquita Williams was on the Nixon's staff at their "Western White House" in San Clemente, California. Nixon like to call this 1927 Spanish-style mansion overlooking the ocean "La Casa Pacifica."
