Printed by the Burton Club for Private Subscribers Only, n.d. [circa 1900]. Connoisseur Edition, limited to 100 numbered copies, this being number thirty-six. Seventeen octavo volumes (ten being The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night; and seven the Supplemental Nights). Frontispieces in two states, one of which is hand-colored. The other illustrations are in two states, one in India proof. Contemporary publisher's half morocco over marbled boards, raised top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed. Marbled endpapers. Spines sunned, modest rubbing and extremity wear, light toning on page edges. Volume I of Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night has front hinge starting. Volume II of Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night has head of spine separating. Volume VII of Supplemental has front joint and front hinge starting. Overall, a very good set.
