Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered and ruled in red; in original, early (likely second) issue dust jacket with sticker affixed to rear panel lowering price to 3/6 net. Spine slightly sloping; spine ends and corners lightly worn; front board just barely rubbed. Dust jacket edges lightly worn with some minor chipping to spine ends and edges of folds; closed tear of less than one inch to upper edge of rear joint fold and a couple other less substantial ones; spine panel faintly dulled with a couple insignificant splashes; small section of price sticker excised; occasional light rubbing. A near fine copy in a very good dust jacket. A beautiful and uncommon book; the only auction appearance in Rare Book Hub occurring in Part 2 of the Lackritz sale in 2002.
