Inscribed by Ann Larimer Gallagher, W. H. H. Larimer's daughter, on the first blank: "To Virginia- / fondest love-from / Ann Larimer Gallagher. / April twenty sixth / Nineteen hundred & nineteen- ". Octavo. 256 pages. Illustrated. Publisher's half black levant morocco over blue marbled boards, spine ruled, lettered in gilt, marbled endleaves. Spine, joints and corners worn, rear hinge and a few gutter cracked. Still, very good.

    [Together With:] William H. H. Larimer. Autograph Postcard Signed. Kansas City: July 17, 1908. Addressed "My Dear Daughter". Approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches. On the verso is an image of the first house in Denver, built in 1858, along with portraits of General and William H. H. Larimer. On the recto, Larimer describes the building of this house, a simple log cabin: "I cut the logs for this cabin on the town site my father and I lived in it the winter of 1858-9 the picture of this cabin was taken by surveyors [?] case in 1861 My fathers picture was taken 1860 in Denver. I was over 60 when my picture was taken. Aff. Your Father W. H. H. Larimer".
