    William Law. An Humble Earnest and Affectionate Address to the Clergy. West Philadelphia: John Townsend, 1856. Contemporary full leather. All edges paint-speckled. Bookplate; ink ownership stamp traced over with gold glitter ink. Rubbing, soiling, staining, and wear to extremities. Spine and corners bumped. Head and tail-pieces affected with some loss. Toning and one small stain on edges with head darkened. Joints cracked but still attached. Front hinge cracking and repaired with tape. Toning on pages. Occasional foxing, dampstaining, and pencil marks. Decorative stickers on title page and fore-edge of ffep. Good.
