Gilt ruling on covers. Raised bands on spine. All edges paint-speckled red. Two bookplates; ink ownership stamp on front paste down and title page. Rubbing, soiling, staining, and wear to extremities. Spine and corners bumped and showing, head and tail-pieces affected with some loss. Textblock slightly cockled. Browning and soiling on edges. Joints rubbed and starting at head. Hinges cracking. Toning on pages. Occasional faint foxing and light dampstaining. Ink signature on title page. Good.
