    Twelvemo. Approximately 6 x 3.5 inches. [xiv], 402 pages. With inserted allegorical frontispiece. Title-page printedn in red and black. Bound in contemporary full mottled calf, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, burgundy gilt morocco lettering label, marbled endleaves. Some wear to spine and corners, hinges starting, front free endpaper loose, offset ownership inscription on front pastedown. Still, a good copy. This book was dedicated to the author's pupil, the prince of Prussia, who would eventually become Frederic II.
