    in the Armenian Church

Khorhrdatetr Srbazan Pataragi est araroghutian Yekeghetseays Hayastaneayts (Book of Mysteries of the Holy Mass According to the Rite of the Armenian Church), Constantinople: Printing House of Boghos Arabian Abukhchetsi, 1844. This slim book contains the guidelines for the performing of the Holy Mass in the Armenian Church. They follow the guidelines authored by two Fathers of the Church, Basil of Caesarea and Gregory of Nazianzus. This particular copy carries a handwritten colophon, dated September 16, 1850 and inserted on behalf of Mahdesi Grigor, its donor to the church of St. Karapet in Kharpert (Western Armenia). It asks to remember his parents, relatives, and children, as well as priest Karapet, who copied the colophon and was the binder of the volume, his parents and children, and his brother.
