Contemporary leather, rebacked. Edges untrimmed. Bookplate; ink ownership stamp on lower corner of title page. Rubbing, soiling, staining, and wear to extremities. Leather is scraped and chipped, with some loss on lower edge. Corners bumped, loss on lower corner of rear cover. Hinges cracked. Paste-downs torn, toned, and ink stained. Dampstaining, toning, and thumbsoiling on pages. Tearing throughout, most repaired as scotch tape. Some text faded by dampstains. Occasional dark smudges on page margins. Poor.
