    [Fore-edge Painting]. Septuagint Græca Tom II. [Greek Text]. N.p., n.d. [circa 1760]. Volume two of the Greek Old Testament, from "Job" to "Maccabees II". With fore-edge painting of a butterfly and flowers. Twelvemo. Brown calf with decorated gilt ruled borders, four raised spine bands with leather title label in compartment, gilt board edges and inner dentelles. All edges gilt. Marbled paper pastedowns, no free endpapers. No title page. Bookplate on front pastedown, front fly-leaf upper border trimmed, ink inscription dated 1792. Boards rubbed, corners bumped; spine faded, vertically crazed, and chipped at ends, headband at foot broken; title label faded. Holograph pencil annotation on blank at back of book in Greek, minor foxing and dampstains. Very good.
