Illustrated. Contemporary full leather. Heavy rubbing and wear on covers, chipping on spines, loss to some portions of leather. Bookplates on front pastedowns. Toning on sheets, offsetting from plates, scattered foxing and soiling.
Volume I: Front board and front free endpaper detached. Ink ownership signatures. Rear joint and hinge cracked.
Volume II: Front board detached. Ink ownership signatures. Rear joint and hinge cracked. Wormholes 5L2-7z2 as well as rear endpapers, some text affected. Light staining on front endpapers through F. Folding map Spain and Portugal by LLuffman laid-in, loss on right margin, roughness on edges, large tear, and heavy creasing. Folding chart A Systematical View of Human Knowledge with large 7 inch tear and severe creasing.
Volume III: Front joint and hinge cracked. Small wormholes on lower margins of 6X-7B2 and rear endpapers.
Overall, a good set.
