Two works by Johan Dibbetz in one quarto. [xxxii], 166. [4]; [xiv], 272, [17] pages. Text in Dutch. Fourteen engraved folding plates, first title page in red and black, small pictorial devices on both title pages, large decorated first initials. Bound in full calf, five raised spine bands with gilt title and deigns in compartments. Boards rubbed, crazed, and lightly warped; corners and edges bumped, small tears with minor loss at head and foot of spine, front joint cracking at head; endpapers with bleedthrough from leather turn-ins; small holograph pen notation on front pastedown, small holograph pencil numbers on front free endpaper and half-title page, holograph pen name on first title page; pages lightly cockled, toned, creased, edge wear with small edge tears, some foxing and minor damp stains, occasional smudges or soiling; plates with fold and edge wear, and minor tears; otherwise in very good condition.
