Presentation copy, inscribed by Bradbury on the front free endpaper: "For / Robert O'Malley- / With the Good / Wishes of / Ray Bradbury / March, 1953." Octavo. 250 pages. Publisher's full dark gray cloth, spine lettered in yellow, dust jacket. Jacket spine a bit toned, some light edgewear to jacket, cloth spine lightly toned, some rubbing. Still, a near fine copy, with a rare contemporary inscription. From the collection of Bob O'Malley.

    This short story collection contains The Fog Horn, which became the partial basis of the 1953 film, The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.
