    Description

Ray Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451. New York: Ballantine Books, [1953].

First edition. Signed by Bradbury and illustrator Joseph Mugnaini on the front free endpaper. Octavo. 199 pages.

Publisher's red boards. Stamped in yellow on spine and front board. Rubbing to bottom edge of boards and spine ends. The price-clipped dust jacket has had repair work done to the front and rear joints. Both joints have been internally strengthened with paper. There is fading to the spine and some minor chipping to the bottom spine end. Additionally, three half-inch triangular pieces have been neatly cut off the bottom edge. Two of these pieces are present. A very good copy.
