    Ca. 1200-1210.
    6-1/2" x 9-1/8" page, 15-1/2" x 18-5/8" frame.
    Single illuminated page of a single folio from a 13th century French Psalter in Latin. Psalm 72 "Quam bonus Israël Deus ." The initial "Q" is a winged creature in pink and red on a gold leaf ground. The rubrics are in blue or gold, with more decoration in blue, red and black ink at the end of each line of text. Gothic script, black ink, parchment is in good condition. Framed.
