Inscribed by William Everson: "For Clayton Echelman [sic] / bard and fellow presence / Bill Everson / Jan. 27, 1980 / Westwood." Designed by Herb Yellin and printed by The Castle Press in January 1980 for George Houle. Fine.

    Association item inscribed to Clayton Eshleman, poet and founder of important literary magazines such as Caterpillar and Sulfur. He won the 1979 National Book Award for his co-translation of César Vallejo's Complete Posthumous Poetry.
