Chromolithographed plates from the excellent second reprint of the famed double-elephant folio edition of Audubon's The Birds of America (only two full-size facsimile reprints of the double-elephant folio edition have ever been published - the 1860 edition by Bien and this one). The original plate was taken after Audubon's original life-size watercolor drawing and manages to capture the original beautifully. Both prints are mounted and matted.
