    James Gillray (artist, 1756-1815). Original Hand-Colored Etching, "A Great Stream from a Petty Fountain; or, John Bull Swamped in the Flood of New Taxes...1806. Depicts John Bull in a boat sinking, losing an oar labeled with Pitt's name, as cormorants including Lord Grenville and Charles James Fox stuff themselves with fish. Mounted to backing with another etching on verso. Measures 11.25" x 9". Creasing and soiling. Good. From the collection of Zita Books.
