Eight 19th Cent. Chromolitho Plates of Flowers & Plants. From I'Illustration Horticole Revue Menuelle Des Serres et Des Jardins by J. Linden, Gand (Ghent): Eugene Vanderhaeghen, 1879-1882.

A beautiful group of eight chromolithographic illustrations, featuring detailed studies of various plants and flowers including masdevallia tovarensis, cypripedium lawrenceanum, odontoglossum madrense, aerides japonicum, and others. Each plate measures 7 x 10.5 inches. The paper has toned with age, with occasional spots of foxing and slight cockling, else they are all in very good condition. Framed and matted, these horticulture illustrations would be a fitting addition to a home study, den, living room, business, or office.
