Fourteen black and white printed illustrations laid-in. Modern blue cloth. Light rubbing to extremities, a bit of toning on edges of sheets with ink annotation and edits to text. Note laid-in from science fiction author and collector William B. Ellern: "This is the manuscript of Poul Anderson's book Three Hearts and Three Lions. Poul provided his publishers with personal sketchs he had mad[e] to illutrate the book. They were never used. A limited number of copies of his artwork was made and distributed. I was lucky enough to get one--which is included. / William B. Ellern." Very good.
