Publisher's pictorial boards, dust jacket. Jacket spine toned, some rubbing and light edgewear to jacket, a few small tears and chips, some thumbsoiling. Spine of binding a bit toned, some rubbing to binding, some intermittent foxing in text, bookplate tipped-in. Still, a near fine copy of pre-war photographs in the United States. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.

    Caldwell and Bourke-White were married for several years, and they collaborated on several books.
