    Description

[Photography]. The Photo-Miniature. New York: Tennant and Ward, 1899-1908. First editions of volumes I-VIII, inclusive.

    More Information:

Eight small octavo volumes. Profusely illustrated with photographs and plates of photography equipment. Contemporary half burgundy morocco over marbled boards, spines ruled and lettered in gilt in compartments, four raised bands. Volume II is lacking its boards and spine, volume V is lacking its spine, and volume VI is missing half of its spine. Joints cracked, several boards nearly detached or detached, bindings heavily worn, library markings on bindings, some volumes with library plates on front blanks, some pages and bindings with tape repairs. Poor. Still, a rare set of this early photography magazine.
