All twelve monthly issues of the seminal periodical bound in two volumes for the years 1871 and 1872, respectively. Each month accompanied by a photographic plate. Each issue contains numerous wood cut illustrations as well. Ex-library with usual markings. Cover detached on second volume. Spine perished on volume one, perishing on volume two. Volume one lacking Custer portrait. Corners bumped and showing. Tissue paper missing on a dew month's photo plates. Some pages detached. Photos themselves in very good condition. Sold with all faults. Overall good.
