Verlag des Camera-Clubs, [1897]. First edition of the 1897 volume, containing all twelve monthly issues of this photography magazine. Large octavo. [viii], 274 pages. With twenty-four photographic images throughout (most are mounted and inserted, some are intertextual, as issued). Contemporary quarter brown pigskin over beige cloth boards with rounded corners, spine lettered in blind, front cover lettered in red. Some light wear to binding, some foxing to boards, one small area of tape residue to front cover, text overopened in a few places, shelf location ink stamp on title-page, a few mounts with minor staining at top (not affecting image or neighboring text, small bookseller's ticket on recto of rear free endpaper. Still, very good. With beautiful examples of photography as art.
    With one photo by Stieglitz ("Winter", opposite page [viii]) and two by Kuhn ("Dämmerung", opposite page 40, and "Wildschutz", opposite page 216).
