    Wonderful Images of 1960s London Celebrities

    [David Bailey]. David Bailey's Box of Pin-ups. Notes by Francis Wyndham. Designed by Mark Boxer and David Hillman. London: 1965. First edition. Thirty-one (of thirty-six) plates loose as issued in the original pictorial cardboard box. Front cover with notes and portrait of Bailey; rear cover with portrait of Mick Jagger. Numerous tape repairs, both the the inside and outside of the box. Some staining and soiling to box. Mild edge and corner wear to some plates, but they are in overall very nice condition. Subjects of these beautiful plates include Paul McCartney & John Lennon (photographed together in two plates), a separate plate of Lennon by himself, Michael Caine, The Rolling Stones, Terence Stamp, David Hockney, Brian Epstein, Cecil Beaton, Vidal Sassoon, and many other figures of 1960s mod London.
