One Hundred and Thirty-three Cyanotype Photos

[Agnes Barbara Wight]. Album of Cyanotype Prints of Early Twentieth Century Travelers in Scenic Locations. [1900-1904]. Small oblong album. Twenty-four leaves with small cyanotype (blue) photos mounted onto both pastedowns and each leaf's recto and verso. One hundred and thirty-three cyanotype photos in all, ranging in size from .5 x 1.5 inches to 3 x 4 inches. Holograph pen inscription "Agnes Barbara Wight/ June, 1900" on front pastedown under tipped-in photo, which is coming loose. There are holograph ink notes beside many photos, identifying the subjects as Jess, Bobby, Dot, Peggy, Gus, Cal, and others. There are also dated notes identifying the scenic locations to which they traveled, such as Gull Lake, Van Cleve Park, Wamper's, Miller's Grove, Westwood, and Mt. Auburn. Album covers rubbed and soiled, edges frayed; over-opened pages, several sections of leaves are loose, occasional light soiling and minor stains; otherwise a nice collection of scarce cyanotype photos from the dawn of the twentieth century.
