Octavo (8.25 x 5.625 inches; 210 x 143 mm.). [2, blank], [viii], 274, [1, blank], [1, about the author], [2, blank] pages. Publisher's dark blue cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt; top edge stained red, others rough-trimmed; in the original dust jacket. Spine just barely askew; front board very gently splayed; spine ends and corners softly tapped; edges very faintly dulled. Dust jacket spine and front panels, as well as rear flap fold, lightly faded; series of tiny splashes to the front panel; very minor soiling; trace insignificant edgewear; tiny interior closed tear along the rear flap fold; machine-clipped, lacking the upper corner of the front flap, but the price is intact.
