NOT an Ex-Library Copy, and Inscribed from Farmer to His Friend, Jack Cordes as a Wedding Present

Philip Jose Farmer. The Green Odyssey. New York: Ballantine Books, [1957]. First edition, first printing. With a delightful inscription signed by the author to friend and fellow Peoria resident and first fan, Jack Cordes on the verso of the dedication leaf, as follows: "Jack, / I know you'll have / a pleasant voyage on your / green odyssey through the / matrimonial sea, because / you'll not be wanting to escape / your own personal Amra. / Philip Jose Farmer." Octavo. [vi], 152 pages. Publisher's tan-gray cloth with green spine titles. Original pictorial dust jacket. Minor wear to extremities. Light rubbing to the dust jacket, with a noticeably sunned spine. Short closed tear to top edge of front panel of the jacket. Very minor loss to spine ends and flap fold ends. Overall, a near fine copy. Not an ex-library copy or book club, as usually found. From the collection of first fan, Jack Cordes.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
