"Being a Facsimile reprint of the literary organ of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, published in 1850." Reprints of all four issues ever published with a separate thirty page Preface by William Michael Rossetti in printed wraps, all housed in a black folding wrap around box with gilt titles on the front cover and spine. Box rubbed and stained, lacking ties, front and rear joints splitting, edge and fold wear, corner bumps; Preface front cover stained and discolored, spine torn at foot, occasional holograph pencil annotations; magazine wraps fragile, toned, offset toning to adjacent pages, chipping and tears at edges, spine tears with surface paper loss, front cover of first issue detached; occasional spots of foxing to pages, creases; otherwise in good condition.
