    Description

    Twenty-eight Volumes, 1764-1799

The Annual Register, or A View of the History, Politics, and Literature For the Year... A publication created in 1758, originally written and edited by Edmund Burke, to be a yearly review of noteworthy events in Great Britain. It collected official documents, speeches, letters, and publications and wove them into a "connected narrative." It is still in publication today. We offer here a fine collection of late eighteenth century volumes relating the events of a tumultuous period in European history. All are octavo full leather-bound books in good or better condition, exceptions and serious flaws noted below.
