    [Francis Bacon]. Baconiana: A Quarterly Magazine - Group of Forty-Five Volumes.

    Baconiana, published by The Bacon Society, dedicated itself to "encourag[ing] the study of the works of Francis Bacon as philosopher, lawyer, statesman and poet." It also encouraged "the general study of the evidence in favour of Francis Bacon's authorship of the plays commonly ascribed to Shakspere [sic]." The forty-five issues that comprise this lot were published between 1887 and 1917. All are in wraps (a couple are missing wrappers), and all are in good or better condition.
