    Ten magazines with unattributed contributions [authors identified in holograph pencil on the table of contents] by authors such as Louisa May Alcott ("Debby's Debut" and "Thoreau's Flute"), Nathaniel Hawthorne ("Up the Thames"), Oliver Wendell Holmes ("Choose You This Day Whom Ye Will Serve"), and Harriet Beecher Stowe ("The Chimney Corner. III"). Also with Civil War articles "At Andersonville" and "Edward Everett". Wrappers rubbed, soiled, stained, and torn with paper losses, few with loose or missing covers. Occasional pencil marks and writing. Pages with edge wear, corner bends, creases, tears, soiling, stains, and foxing. Fair to good.
