    The pamphlet covers a portion of the 15th National Convention of the Communist Party and the concepts of personal integrity, loyalty and relations between members and leaders. Winston was a high-ranking member of the Party for many years and died in 1986.

    Condition: Light soiling and creasing throughout.

    [Langston Hughes]. Equality Land and Freedom. A Program for Negro Liberation.
    46, [2] pages. 4.5" x 6"
    New York: League of Struggle for Negro Rights, November 1933

    Orange pictorial wrappers. Langston Hughes is listed as the president of the National Council of the League of Struggle for Negro Rights and likely played a role in the contents of this pamphlet. Contents include: Draft Program of the League of Struggle for Negro Rights; The Bill of Civil Rights for the Negro People; and Draft of By-Laws of the League of Struggle for Negro Rights. With an advertisement for The Liberator on the inside front cover and additional ads on the inside and outside back cover.

    Condition: Two spots of discoloration to top cover, with light soiling; otherwise near fine. Pencil notations by a previous owner on page 19.

    New York: New Century Publishers, 1953

    Pamphlet is a printed report delivered at the National Conference of the Communist Party and focuses on many topics including the N.A.A.C.P., and the role of the labor movement.

    Condition: Some wear to wraps, with a small separation at top of cover at the spine. Numerous notes in pen and pencil throughout.
