    Rather broad petition with extensive discussion of the indispensable nature of slavery: "That slavery is indispensable to the maintenance of a republican form of government, and that God in his providence introduced the African into this country, because his purpose is to use the products of slave labor to aid in the diffusion of civilization and Christianity throughout the world."
