Decorative writing sheet engraved by Jacques Bureau (1669-1743). 15.5 x 13.4 inches; 394 x 340 mm). Profusely illustrated in all margins with decorative animal designs with a blank panel in the center for writing. Top margin: "Gesneden door J[acques] Bureau Frans-School-Meester." Bottom left corner: "Fait par Jaques Bureau." Corners worn and somewhat chipping, toned in margins, somewhat rubbed and soiled, several small closed tears to edges, some professional repairs, flattened horizontal fold crease through center. Good or better.
