    A Beautiful Anatomical Manuscript with
    Thirty-eight Original Pencil Drawings

    [Anatomical Manuscript]. Anatomical Manuscript. [N.p., though most likely Italy, n.d., ca. mid- to late-1700's]. Thirty-eight pages of original pencil and ink drawings on twenty-two leaves. Captions in ink. Folio. Approximately 15 x 9.5 inches. Drawings after Albinus and others. Twenty-three pages of drawings in black and red pencil. All drawings expertly rendered and shaded. Bound in near contemporary half calf over decorated paper boards. Some wear and mild soiling to binding, worm damage to pastedowns, some moderate soiling to plates. Small note card affixed to rear pastedown, hand-written in ink: "Pater dell'Andine [?] Minore/Fophet Emsick [?]". A beautiful, expertly-done collection of original anatomical drawings.
