Bound in later half brown morocco over marbled boards. Skillfully rebacked, preserving the original spine. Spine ruled and lettered in gilt, six raised bands, later endleaves. Some rubbing and mild wear to binding, some ink ownership markings on verso of engraved title-page and on title-page, some light intermittent foxing on text, a few plates with mild chipping or minor damage. With ink notations on the first blank. Ink ownership signature of Abraham Lowe on the title page. Still, a near fine copy of this beautiful book. Gay 219. Hamilton 46.
