Wallgren Signed Book "The A.E.F. In Cartoon" From Stars and Stripes, Official Newspaper of the A.E.F. (Philadelphia, PA: Dan Sowers & Company, 1933), here is a copy signed by the creator, Abian "Wally" Wallgren with a unique sketch added. Orange boards, 4to, unpaginated. Introduction by Alexander Woollcott. Inscribed and signed presentation copy, which contains an original drawing by Wallgren on the frontispiece. "To Cyrus B. Kitchen U.S.S. Wright - with best wishes from Wally Wallgren". The drawing, to the right of the inscription, is of Lt. Kitchen driving a winged car. Below the image is the caption: "Lootenant Cy on the fly - looking for another kitchen." Good, with some deterioration at the top edge of the spine and some water staining to the covers. Interior clean, no foxing or stains. A scarce book, especially with signature and original sketch. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
