Octavo. 57 pages of text by Will Irwin and 47 full-page photographs of Chinese street-life and culture in San Francisco's Chinatown by Genthe. Original orange cloth with photograph pastedown front cover. Light wear to edges. Dulled lettering on spine. Inked name of previous owner on front free endpaper. Very good. [and:] As I Remember. New York: John Day/Reynal & Hitchcock, [1936]. First edition. Quarto. xiv, 290 pages. With 112 photographs by the author. Index. Original gilt-stamped orange and black cloth. Boards slightly bowed. Edges lightly scuffed. Top edge mottled. Unknown residue to front cover has resulted in a very faint shiny patch. Very good.
