Peter Supf. Das Buch der deutschen Fluggeschichte, Zweiter Band. Stuttgart: Drei Brunnen Verlag, 1958.
Second revised edition. German text. Quarto. 736 pages. Profusely illustrated.

Original blue cloth with titles in silver on the spine and front board. Front board with a line of sun fading. Some soiling to the boards with toning at the extremities. Light foxing, mainly at the preliminary pages and edges. Front hinge with a three inch crack at the top, else contents sound and square. Very good.

A comprehensive study of German aviation history from just prior to WWI until just before Hitler's rise to power. The text is enhanced by a multitude of black-and-white period photographs and portraits of leading German aviators.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
