Publisher's full green binding, boards decoratively paneled in blind, spine tooled and lettered in gilt, coated brown endpapers. Herbert William Richmond bookplate on front pastedown. Small binder's label on rear pastedown. Folded holograph presentation letter from the executors of the estate of Frederick Whitting, mounted on verso of title page. Boards rubbed, corners bumped, small tear at foot of spine; hinges cracking, holograph annotations to front free endpaper, last page of catalog, and verso of rear free endpaper; title page with bleedthrough and contents page with off-set lines, both from letter mounted on verso of title; pages over-opened at signatures, foxing to front and rear leaves, few small spots of soiling; otherwise in very good condition.
