Quarter leather binding with marbled boards; boards are worn, leaves ix-x and xi-xii in volume 4 are separated from text block; tape repair to leaf facing title page of volume 9; significant offsetting from plates despite tissue guards. Very good. An attractive copy of this monumental work, the first scientific work with color plates published in the United States.
