More Information: A Texas Ranger is journalist Napoleon Augustus Jennings's memoir of his youthful career serving with Leander H. McNelly's Texas Ranger company from 1874 to 1877. He writes of the bloody exploits in South Texas along the Nueces Strip, including encounters with such notorious figures as King Fisher, John Wesley Hardin, and Juan Cortina. Adams, in Six-Guns and Saddle Leather, points out that the "first edition is exceedingly scarce, and the reprints are also becoming scarce." A true classic of Texas Ranger lore, derided by Walter Prescott Webb for what he thought to be glaring inaccuracies, and praised by J. Frank Dobie for its fast-paced and engaging storytelling.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
