With a descriptive leaf inscribed by the author. Inscribed by the author on a separate leaf, dated "11/25/80": "This is the original manuscript of The Lunatic Fringe. A few pages (the author's note for example) were retyped at the publisher, but the rest is mine. The typewriters are easy to tell apart. Editor's corrections are in red pencil, mine in black or blue ink, either felt tip or ballpoint. My corrections and additions on the galleys [included in this lot] are in black ballpoint. William L. DeAndrea. P.S. There are no other drafts or any carbon copies of this book. W.L.D." . On quarto-sized white typing paper (approximately 11 x 8.5 inches; 280 x 215 mm.) [viii], 1-411 leaves.
