Publisher's brown cloth, spine lettered in gilt with dark brown woman's figure, boards decoratively blind-stamped; all text block edges trimmed; brown coated endpapers. Spine leaning; loss to spine ends; very mild wear along joints; boards lightly rubbed; minimal wear along edges; corners bumped with boards exposed. Text block slightly dulled with age; top edge darkened; endpapers a bit worn and soiled, with previous owner penciling at front free endpaper; occasional, mostly marginal spots of foxing, staining, and thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior; penciling to inner and lower margins of first page of text. Very good. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
