Publisher's blue cloth, spine and front stamped in orange; top edge of text block trimmed and stained orange; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends softly pushed and just slightly worn; backstrip and board edges faded just a shade; trace of wear along bottom edges. Text block a bit dulled with age, particularly along edges; top edge dust-soiled; previous owner bookplate affixed to front pastedown; occasional mild, marginal thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Foot of jacket spine panel nicked, head with a couple of small chips; spine panel sunned; soft crease running vertical length of spine panel; light wear and creasing to panel folds; front and rear panels rubbed and slightly tanned with a tiny amount of thumbsoiling, a bit of spot-staining at rear; light wear to panel edges, with associated tiny tears and soft creasing; flap folds softly worn and creased, with some nicking or a small amount of splitting starting at ends; flap edges toned and a bit rumpled. Mild rubbing at verso. Near fine book in a very good jacket.
