Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt and black, front lettered in gilt with small black decorative stamp, publisher's device stamped in black at rear; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Foot of spine very slightly rolled with just a tiny amount of wear; gilt text at spine flaking a very tiny amount. Text block softly yellowed with age; top edge of text block very slightly dust-soiled. Jacket lightly rubbed; mild edge wear, most pronounced at spine and flap fold ends; soft creasing and light wear at folds; single crease at front panel; tiny tear at head of rear panel. Verso mildly toned with age. Near fine.

Publisher's black cloth, spine stamped in gilt, front with small decorative device stamped in blind; top edge trimmed and stained green; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends slightly faded with a tiny amount of loss to gilding; boards lightly rubbed with a bit of fading toward outer margins. Text block very softly yellowed with age; occasional mild, marginal spots of soiling scattered throughout interior. Jacket with some soft, general rubbing; a bit of chipping at spine and fold ends; fairly mild wear and rumpling at edges of front and rear panels, with a handful of short tears; scattered specks of foxing at rear panel and flaps; folds slightly worn and creased. Mild foxing and rubbing at verso. Very good.
