    Sax Rohmer. The Quest of the Sacred Slipper. London: C. Arthur Person, [1919]. First edition. Small octavo. [4], 9-184, [4] pages. Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered in black, spine and front with decorative blind-stamping; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild, uneven discoloration along spine, particularly at ends, which are lightly worn with a couple of minuscule splits starting at head; cloth slightly bubbled along joints; faint spotting to boards; top and bottom edges faded with some specks of foxing. Text block a bit dulled with age; creasing at front pastedown resulting in soft line at front free endpaper. Jacket just a bit faded at spine panel, with a small amount of chipping along either end; soft wear and creasing along folds; mild rubbing at front and rear panels, with a bit of light edge wear; a couple of tiny holes at rear panel; nicking at ends of front flap fold; insect damage along rear flap fold. Some faint foxing and drip-stains at verso. Very good.
