Publisher's black cloth, spine and front stamped in bluish green; top edge of text block stained green, others untrimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends gently pushed and worn, foot crimped; trace of wear along bottom edges; lower corners tapped just a bit. Text block slightly dulled; endpapers just barely discolored, with small corner marking remains of paper label removed from rear pastedown; spine split between pages 116 and 117, 196 and 197. Slight edge wear to jacket, particularly at spine and flap fold ends; very light rubbing to exposed panels; short tear and a bit of soft creasing along top edge of front panel; soft creasing at flap folds, with nicking at ends. Near fine.
