Sax Rohmer. The Dream Detective. Garden City: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1925. First U. S. edition. Octavo. , 309,  pages. Publisher's red cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket, restored. Spine ends very slightly softened and worn; a few tiny drip stains to backstrip; gilt lettering a bit tarnished; minor rubbing at bottom edge of lower corners; one upper corner tapped. Text block edges foxed; mild discoloration to endpapers; foxing throughout interior. Jacket lightly rubbed, with paper restorations along jacket folds and edges; trace of color added along spine and edges of front panel; couple of soft creases at front and rear panels. Near fine.

Publisher's red cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed. Cloth generally a bit soiled; spine ends pushed with a bit of splitting to cloth; light wear along joints; mild wear and soiling along edges; corners tapped. Text block a bit yellowed with age, particularly at edges; top edge dust-soiled; foxing and mild, small spots of staining at bottom and fore-edge; tiny amount of spot-staining and thumbsoiling at endpapers; mild, mostly marginal soiling scattered throughout interior, with offsetting onto pages 38 and 39 from newspaper clipping laid in. Very good. Queen's Quorum 64.
